What does OS Health provide?
OS Health provides one daily movement recommendation, a specific activity or workout plan when appropriate, and an explanation of why it fits your current situation.
How does OS Health protect my privacy?
Privacy is a core design principle. You remain in control of what you connect and share. OS Health is designed to collect only the information needed to provide relevant recommendations, and personal health information will not be sold. Read more on the Privacy page.
How can OS Health recommend workouts if it does not have my Apple Health information?
You do not need to connect everything on the first day. OS Health can begin with information you provide through onboarding and conversation, including your goals, injuries, available equipment, schedule, preferences, and experience. Connected data can add context later.
Will the workout account for the equipment I have?
Yes. The intended experience uses information about your home gym, gym membership, available equipment, travel setting, and time constraints to build a practical plan.
Do I need to be active already?
No. OS Health is intended for people who are active, people returning to activity, and people who want help deciding how to begin realistically.
Do I need a wearable?
No. Wearable data can add useful evidence, but OS Health is designed to consider user reported context as well.
Will OS Health connect to Apple Health and Garmin?
Wearable integrations are part of the roadmap. The first product is focused on proving the daily recommendation, explanation, memory, and feedback loop.
Will OS Health connect to Epic, MyChart, or other medical records?
Health record interoperability is a longer term objective, especially for users who do not want to recreate years of history manually. It is not part of the initial MVP.
How much will OS Health cost?
Pricing has not been announced. Waitlist members will receive pricing and launch information before the product becomes broadly available.
Will OS Health be available outside the United States?
The product is intended for international use. Availability, health record connections, measurement units, and certain integrations may vary by region. Users should be able to select local units and preferences.
Can I purchase OS Health for my parent or parents?
That is part of the intended direction. The initial product is focused on the individual user, but gifting access and family supported use are important future use cases.
Is OS Health covered by insurance?
Not at launch. OS Health is initially being developed as a consumer product. Coverage through insurance, employers, healthcare organizations, or other partners may be explored later.
Is OS Health a replacement for my doctor or physical therapist?
No. OS Health does not diagnose conditions and is intended to complement qualified professional care.
How will OS Health use AI?
AI supports contextual reasoning, clarification, adaptation, and explanations. Consistent rules and safety boundaries will be used where needed.
Can I share OS Health with a friend or family member?
Yes. You can send them directly to the OS Health waitlist.
Will OS Health be available on iPhone and Android?
Yes. OS Health is planned for both iPhone and Android. Official App Store and Google Play links will be added when the listings are live.
Will OS Health be available on desktop?
The initial experience is focused on mobile. A desktop version remains under consideration and will depend on user needs and product priorities.
When will the app be available?
The MVP is currently in development. Waitlist members will receive updates and information about testing opportunities.
