What does OS Health provide?
OS Health provides one daily movement recommendation, a specific activity or workout plan when appropriate, and a clear explanation of why it fits your current situation.
How does OS Health protect my privacy?
Privacy is a core design principle. You remain in control of what you connect and share. OS Health is designed to collect only the information needed to provide relevant recommendations, and personal health information will not be sold. Read more on the Privacy page.
Do I need Apple Health or a wearable to use OS Health?
No. OS Health is designed to be useful with the information you provide directly, including your goals, recent activity, injuries, schedule, available equipment, preferences, and how you’re feeling. Connecting Apple Health can add more context and make the recommendations more informed, but it is not required for OS Health to be useful.
Will the workout account for the equipment I have?
Yes. OS Health uses information about your available equipment, gym access, travel setting, and time constraints to build a practical plan.
Do I need to be active already?
No. OS Health is intended for people who are active, people returning to activity, and people who want help deciding how to begin realistically.
Do I need a wearable?
No. Wearable data can add useful evidence, but OS Health is designed to consider user reported context as well.
Will OS Health connect to Apple Health and other wearables?
Apple Health is part of the October 4 iPhone beta. Additional wearable integrations, including Garmin, may be added over time based on user needs and product priorities.
Will OS Health connect to Epic, MyChart, or other medical records?
Not in the current beta. Health record integrations may be explored later where they can materially improve the guidance OS Health provides.
How much will OS Health cost?
The October 4 beta is free. Pricing for the future commercial product has not yet been announced.
Will OS Health be available outside the United States?
The current beta is limited to users in the United States. International availability is in development for a future launch.
Is OS Health covered by insurance?
No. OS Health is currently being developed as a direct-to-consumer product.
Is OS Health a replacement for my doctor or physical therapist?
No. OS Health does not diagnose conditions and is intended to complement qualified professional care.
How will OS Health use AI?
AI helps OS Health reason across your context, ask clarifying questions, adapt recommendations, and explain why a recommendation makes sense. Product rules and safety boundaries are applied where appropriate.
Can I share OS Health with a friend or family member?
Yes. If you know someone who may be a good fit, you can send them to OS Health early access.
Will OS Health be available on iPhone and Android?
The iPhone beta launches October 4. Android is currently in development.
When will the app be available?
The first outside-user iPhone beta launches October 4. People interested in future access can join early access for updates.
